Led by the Yantai University, bounded by Shandong International Biotechnology Park，the New Preparations and Biotech Drug R&D Collaborative Innovation Center(hereinafter referred to as Collaborative Innovation Center), which faces the leading industry-oriented and strategic industry—Bio-pharma, successfully entered Shandong University collaborative innovation center list. It is a new milestone for BIOasis’s Industry-University-Research Cooperation after the introduction of well-known institutions such as Yantai Substation of CAS Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Tongji Yantai Translational Medicine Research Institute, China Pharmaceutical University PK Laboratory (Yantai).

Collaborative Innovation Center will capitalize on the strategic needs of the country, face the forefront of national pharmaceutical industry development, target China's major strategic emerging industries--bio-pharmaceutical and other major drug technology issues, connect the development need of the pharmaceutical industry in Shandong Province.

The center will promote and expand the international influence of China’s innovative drugs, enhance the level of pharmaceutical industry development and the quality of running the universities and actively make a positive contribution to the province's transition from a pharmacy factory to a pharmacy R&D center.
